This <strong>modern<\/strong> yet <strong>minimalistic Scandinavian interior design styling<\/strong> actually takes its inspiration from the landscape and lifestyle of the <strong>Scandinavian <\/strong>countries.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Originating in Norway, Denmark and Sweden in the mid 20th century, it has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scandinaviastandard.com\/what-is-scandinavian-design\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rich history<\/a>, and became known in the other Nordic countries of Finland and Iceland, and has enjoyed ongoing worldwide popularity ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Scandinavian citizens<\/strong> value <strong>nature<\/strong> and are known for spending a lot of time outdoors. As such, the <strong>clean lines and textures<\/strong> of the <strong>Nordic landscape<\/strong> lent inspiration to those found in <strong>Scandi styling.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The need for <strong>comfort<\/strong> that long cold Scandinavian winters bring also played a part. <strong>Coziness<\/strong> rituals are a big part of the <strong>Nordic lifestyle<\/strong>, so this type of <strong>interior<\/strong> invites big <strong>cozy <\/strong>blankets, deep sofas and a place to serve warm cups of coffee. Winters in the Nordics are dark, too, so a focus on <strong>light<\/strong> in the space is necessary.
