In Egypt, winter constellations include Auriga, Carina, Eridanus, and Monoceros. Canis Major and Minor plus Orion and Taurus are also prominent. These constellations are best seen from late December to late March. In the Summer, Cassiopeia, Cepheus and Draco are prominent as are Ursa Major and Minor.
