Annual meteor shows peak at different times each year, but must-see events include the Perseids in July and August. The Quadrantids occur during January, while the Geminids appear in December.
Sagittarius and Scorpius best observed in areas south of the Equator from late December to late March. You can also view Aquilla, Cassiopeia, Cepheus, Cygnus, Draco, Hercules, and Lyra. Ursa Major and Ursa Minor are also visible. These constellations are best viewed during the summer in areas of Indonesia that are north of the Equator.
From late June to late September, look out for Orion in areas south of the Equator. Gemini and Taurus are also visible. Auriga, Canis Major and Minor, Carina, Eridanus, and Monoceros are also best viewed during these months. From places north of the Equator, these constellations are best viewed in Indonesia during the winter.
