There’s nothing like experiencing the world’s cuisines to transform you to far away places. Grab a global cook book, or search online for simple recipes from your favourite cuisines.

Don’t fancy leaving the sofa? Take out options are available for almost every cuisine… we won’t tell!

“Parlez vous français?”

Apps like DuoLingo, Babbel and Memrise offer immersive courses for complete beginners and upwards. 

You’ll be pleased to know that something as easy as watching your favourite Netflix shows in your target language, or even simply switching your subtitles, also counts as practicing your language! 

Once you’ve mastered the basics, reading books in your target language will let your imagination take you to new places in no time. 

Learning the lingo in a simple window to other cultures, and also ensures that you never become lost in translation. And speaking of which…
